  Dandux Unprimed Somerset Canvas: is a medium weight, single filled, all natural cotton duck. Rolls come 6 yards by 60". The Art Box sells rolls and cut yardage as small as 1'x60".
  
  

  Dandux Unprimed St. Mary's Floorcloth Canvas: A very large cotton canvas suitable for most floorcloth techniques. Made in USA. The Art Box carries 96" and 120" widths.
  
  

  Fredrix Universal Primed Canvas: This primed cotton duck is 53" wide and comes in 6 yard rolls. The Art Box sells whole rolls or cut yardage as small as 1'X53".
  
  

  Yarka Primed Linen Canvas: Produced by a Russian factory that has been making artists' canvas since 1871, Yarka's linen canvas is a bargain for today's artists. Yarka canvas is double sized with "Sturgeon Glue" and then triple primed with an oil or acrylic based formula. The oil based formula is made up of Zinc Oxide, Sturgeon Adhesive, Photographic Gelatine, Glycerin, Linseed Oil, and Sunflower Oil. The acrylic based formula is made up of Zinc Oxide, Polyvinyl Acetate Adhesive, Photographic Gelatine, and Oxybensol. The different formulations are available on a rough landscape canvas, or a smoother fine portrait canvas. All rolls are 3.27 yards long, and all are available 78" wide. The fine portrait canvas is also available in a 31" width. Made in Russia. The Art Box carries all textures and sizes.

  Best Products Medium Duty Stretcher Bars: Best Products makes wonderful medium duty stretcher bars. They measure 1.5"x1.25" at the cross section, so they are substantially stronger than the Fredrix stretcher bars. Since they are only 1.25" deep, it is usually possible to find a frame that will cover the side. The Art Box carries these bars in a range of sizes from 16" to 72". Bars as small as 8" and as large as 80" are available by special order. Made in USA.
  
  

  Best Products Heavy Duty Stretcher Bars: The Art Box special orders heavy duty stretcher bars in two styles. The Pine Super Stretcher Bars measure 1.5"x2" at the cross section, and are available up to 120" in length. The Aluminum Combination Bars measure 1.5"x 1.88" and are available up to 96" in length. Both are good choices for large paintings. Made in USA.
  
  

  Fredrix Standard Cotton Stretched Canvas: These stretched canvases are primed by machine for maximum uniformity. The acrylic sizings are formulated at non-acid pH levels to protect against canvas deterioration. The canvas is cotton duck. Made in USA. The Art Box carries more than 15 sizes in stock.
  
  

  Yarka Stretched Linen Canvas: Yarka starts by stretching unprimed linen onto their high quality wood stretchers. Then they double size and triple prime them. The result is an extremely taut and firm pre-stretched archival product. Their landscape texture linen has a rough toothy grain, and their portrait texture canvas is a smooth, fine grained linen. These stretched canvases are made in Russia, and while Yarka's quality is somewhat variable, they are very reasonably priced. The Art Box carries a range of sizes from 11"x14" to 20"x24".
  
  

  Fredrix Canvas Panels: Closely woven artists' canvas is used to make these panels. The canvas is sized and acrylic primed for use with all media, and then glued to the entire surface of the board. This allows them to be cut to any size. Made in USA. The Art Box carries canvas boards in 8"x10", 11"x14" and 16"x20".
  
  

  Savoir Faire Artists' Wood Panels: Artists' panels have experienced a resurgent popularity amoung today's artists and with good reason. They are strong and stable, and may be painted on directly or be covered with canvas or paper. Savoir Faire's Artist Panels feature a flawlessly smooth birch face of extremely tight grain, low acidity, and multi-ply construction which makes the panels very warp resistant. The mahogany backing is remarkably stable and moisture resistant. The support frame is made of 100% U.S. sugar pine that is a low acid wood of high stability, providing a great tacking edge that will not split. The panels should be sealed with a non-water based sizing and primed with oil or acrylic gesso. (Lascaux Fixative makes a great sealer.) Once sealed, canvas or paper may also be stretched over the panels in a traditional manner. The panels are available in a range of sizes from 5"x7" to 30"x40". The Art Box carries some sizes in stock, and can special order the entire line.
  
  

  Masonite Panels: The Art Box carries masonite panels from Houston Art and Frame. These smooth, pre-primed, tempered masonite panels are ideal for any oil or acrylic project. The Art Box carries 11"x14, 12"x16" and 16"x20" panels.
